Dane started Crossfit in 2015 and was immediately hooked by the challenge and the environment of a CrossFit Gym. His mum started Crossfit in his hometown in the Snowy Mountains in 2015 and Dane was invited along to a class when visiting his hometown, it was the first time he saw a structured program, skill progressions and a community vibe within a gym and has loved it ever since. Before CrossFit, Dane played State League Basketball for the Central Coast and use to do a lot of endurance training and running for that. Outside of the gym he enjoys MTB riding and spending time with family and friends. Danes favorite aspect of training is the people you meet along the way and the individual challenges Crossfit brings.

I started CrossFit in late 2013 before falling in love and getting into coaching..I have always been sporty, playing soccer and dancing. Now outside the Box, I incorporate a lot of Calisthenics into my training, which I enjoying doing do outdoors when I can.
My advice that I would give someone who is new to CrossFit… Have fun, do what you can. We all started somewhere, it’s your commitment, that will prove how much you want to change.

Junior Humans Specialty Coach
I started training at Human Fitness in March 2018 and haven’t looked back ✌. I had been intrigued by the CrossFit methodology and followed the sport, but I was ready to train with other people who also enjoyed it like I did. Most importantly, I realised I had to be vulnerable and join a Box to discover what my weaknesses were and get proper Coaching.
