Coach
I started training at Human Fitness in April 2019 just over a year ago.
After moving back home after 5 years in Sydney I needed a new gym to call home and decided to give it a go at Human Fitness.
I have been lifting weights for about 15 years and training CrossFit for 2 years but since coming to Human I have found a new level of passion with my training which has encouraged me to step it up a gear. I have a new drive to improve and be the best I can.
The best thing about Human – I LOVE the coaches, LOVE the crew, LOVE the community!
If I could take one piece of exercise equipment to a deserted island it would have to be Kettlebell – The amount of different exercises you can do with a KB is phenomenal. Absolute must have for any deserted island. Love a KB snatch to be honest.
I played Rugby League for The Entrance Tigers for 15 years, came up through the ages and finished playing 2 years of first grade and then finished in reserve grade for the Terrigal 5 years ago.
Outside the gym I love to surf, go rock fishing, motorbike riding and ritual Sunday afternoon walks along the lake with my little daughter, wife and 2 doggies.
My favourite movie of all time would have to be Batman (ANY AND EVERYONE)!
If I was stuck on a desert island and could only take one musical album with me it would have to be Polaris – The death of me.
Do Hot Chips Count as a meal? Hot chippies are my favourite.
My advice I would you give to someone new to Human Fitness and the CrossFit Methodology is just commit and trust the process! Most of all, if you’re ever unsure, just ask the question. The coaches are all here to help!
My training goals for 2020 is to focus on my technique above all else and recover well.
The people I look to for inspiration are Kevin Hart, Noah Olsen, Billie Ralph (my daughter) and Pitts.
My favourite quote would have to be “ The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing” – Walt Disney.
