I started training at Human Fitness about 5 years ago. Through all its different changes over the years I still find a reason to show up and do my best!
I decided to start and give it a go after a friend’s recommendation.
Before I was introduced to training at Human and the Crossfit methodology, I was training mostly endurance and adding in some weights here and there.
My favourite aspect of training at Human is the people. It makes training that much more enjoyable when you have a good group to support you!
If I was stuck on a deserted island and only had one piece of equipment to exercise with it would be an assault bike. I just like to get it over and done with!
I played soccer in my younger years and grew up on motorbikes and raced motocross at club level for about 10 years.
Outside of the gym and when I am not training I love to swim and get in the ocean when I can and I also love to cycle.
My favourite movie of all time is Inglorious Bastards.
If I was stranded on a deserted island and only could have one album with me if would have to be Coming From Reality By Rodriguez. The best!
My favourite cuisine would have to be Mexican. Yum Yum.
Some advice I would give to someone new to Human Fitness and the CrossFit Methodology is just trust the process, learn the technique and good things will come.
My training goals for 2020 is to compete in a Triathlon and run a sub 20min 5k
I am lucky that everyone around me really inspires me. It is so good to have so many good people in my life!
