I have been CrossFitting now for around 2 1/2 years (time flies when you’re having fun)
The biggest change I have noticed within myself since starting CrossFit is definitely self-confidence and that I must love CrossFit because deep down cause I’m still doing it.
When it comes to movements of choice I Love weight lifting. I absolutely dislike BURPEES
Burpees or Squats?
Squats over Burpees anytime. Out of run, row or bike…When I first started I would have said none of the above …..I’m actually liking the rowing.
I can do so much more since starting CrossFit. I have never done training like this before. The one thing I’ve overcome mentally is box jumps. There’s plenty of room for improvement in all other areas.
My favourite cheat meal is anything I don’t have to cook… I do love a good pork and gravy roll with extra crackling.
One thing that I love to do outside of the gym is spending time with my family and fur babies.
I love upcycling furniture. Sorry that was 3 things.
I don’t drink tea or coffee (can’t stand the smell of coffee) so I think I can definitely survive without it.
Without bacon in my life I would cry! I Love bacon and Coles has now got microwave bacon that cooks in 30seconds. Breakfast is now a game changer throughout the week 🤣🤣🤣
The thing I enjoy the most about Human Fitness is the community. It’s the “me time”. I can be/feel myself.
I’m not sure if it’s a party trick but I can bend just the tips of my fingers.. it’s weird.
My favourite place to travel is anywhere! I’m a country girl at heart love going out West to visit the fams
3 things I couldn’t live without would be my family, good health and chocolate.
In 5 years I see myself still doing everything I do now ….maybe not working as much so I’ve got more time with everyone around me and doing more of the things I love.
Moving forward my goals are to enter my first crossfit comp. I would like to master 50 dubs backwards. ( I can do 1)🤣
